Ordered Limpia on a whim on a Door Dash and was ecstatic on how good it was. Got to my house still warm and crispy. Will definitely be going back to try the other entrees.

Here’s an honest review I am a born and raised filipina from a well known cuisine area in the Philippines. I moved to Oregon last year and this is the closest authentic filipino food I have ever tried (so far) in the us! I love it ⭐ We ordered: •Tapsilog - 8.5/10 my husband loved it for me it’s okay but still better than most restos here in the US. Authenticity is 9/10 tho •Sisilog - 10 for authenticity it’s so good! I’ve been craving for this for a long time now and have tried other filipino food places and this is the most authentic place to get it. •Bopis - 9/10 it’s good but not as good as the mainland’s bopis but with the ingredients they have here in the US, they made it very well. •Laing - 9/10 - healthy meal and very flavorful •halo halo - my husband rates as 9.5/10 it’s really good but this one feels like a ube halo halo fusion of boba milk tea because the main ingredients are tapioca, jellies, ube, banana, leche flan, ice and milk. It’s really good but not the traditional halo halo. Good twist though! I just ordered to go so I couldn’t really rate the atmosphere but when I called them the lady I talked to was really really nice and my husband said they looked happy with what they do when he picked up our food

I appreciated the cleanliness of the shared spaces at the garage food carts. It was easy to find parking, and the location is great. I'm excited that there's a Filipino food cart not too far from where I live. The service was friendly, and while the food was okay, I felt the garlic fried rice didn't live up to expectations, considering it's a staple of Filipino cuisine. The Spam was good, and my son enjoyed his lunch. However, the prices were a bit higher than expected. I will go back to try other dishes. I do love supporting local food trucks!

Good find if you are in the mood for some Filipino food, initial look at the prices would make you think it is on the high side, however the actual portion size is fair. The food taste good too and has that home cook feeling. They have halo halo too but was void of ingredients,

Whether you’re craving the savory goodness of Tortasilog or the smoky richness of their Bbqsilog and Beef Steak, Bongga Kusina offers comfort food that feels both familiar and exciting.

The Tortasilog, a delightful trio of ground pork patties, garlic fried rice, and egg, perfectly balances savory and hearty notes. It’s a true testament to the Filipino love for flavorful simplicity. The Beef Steak here has caught the attention of many for its tender, marinated beef slices simmered to juicy perfection, invoking the classic "Bistek Tagalog" experience. Meanwhile, the Bbqsilog, with its grilled meats and seasoned rice, pulses with the unmistakable smoky aroma that BBQ enthusiasts seek.

What truly sets Bongga Kusina apart is its attention to authenticity without sacrificing freshness and warmth. Customers like Courtney rave about receiving orders still warm and crisp, a rare feat for delivery. Jamie Angeles, a native Filipina, praises the high authenticity level across multiple dishes, especially the Sisilog and Laing, both celebrated Filipino staples—showcasing the kitchen’s deep respect for traditional flavors and techniques.

Even their take on classic desserts like Halo Halo adds a fun, inventive twist while preserving the essence of the beloved Filipino treat. The inclusion of ingredients such as ube and tapioca pearls offers a fresh fusion that appeals both to traditionalists and adventurous palates. The glowing reviews for the Halo Halo confirm its role as a must-try when visiting Bongga Kusina.

Beyond the food, Bongga Kusina’s welcoming service and inviting atmosphere—whether at their friendly garage food cart location or in takeout interactions—round out the dining experience. While some customers note pricing and rice quality as minor areas for improvement, the overall sentiment highlights a passionate kitchen delivering rich Filipino flavors with heart.
